Wedding invitation website FAQ

The questions couples ask us most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, message us — we would rather answer it than have you guess.

Getting started

What is MyPerfectHalf?

MyPerfectHalf is a wedding invitation website builder. You sign up, edit your invitation live in the browser, and share one link with your guests. The link opens as a full invitation page with your story, schedule, venues, gallery, RSVP and seat plan.

Do I need design skills to use it?

No. You start from a finished design — there are 9 templates to choose from — and replace the words and photos with your own. If you want a different look without doing it by hand, AI Design lets you describe the style you want and restyles the invitation for you.

How long does it take to build an invitation?

Most couples have something they are happy to show family within an evening, once their photos and event details are on hand. You can keep refining it for as long as you like before publishing.

Can someone build it for me?

Yes. Our studio can design the whole invitation from your photos and details as a done-for-you service, including 2 rounds of revisions before publishing. You still own the invitation and can edit it afterwards.

Pricing and publishing

Is it free?

Building is free. Signing up costs nothing and you get 10 days to build and edit with every feature unlocked. You only pay a one-time activation fee when you want your public guest link to go live.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No. Every plan is a one-time payment for a fixed number of days that your guest link stays live. Nothing auto-renews and no card is stored.

Do more expensive plans include more features?

No. Every plan unlocks exactly the same features. The only difference between plans is how long your public guest link stays live.

How do I pay?

There is no online checkout. When your invitation is ready, message us and we will send payment details; once payment is confirmed we email you an activation code, which you redeem in your dashboard under Publish and Activate. You can reach us at jking.cim@gmail.com.

What happens when my link expires?

Your invitation and all its content stay safe in your account — you can still sign in, open it and keep editing. Guests simply see a short note saying the invitation is not available. Redeeming another activation code brings the link back; codes stack, so the days add on to whatever time is left.

Editing and features

Can I still edit my invitation after I share the link?

Yes, and most couples do. Editing is unlimited. Any change you save is what the next guest to open the link will see, which is why a digital invitation handles a venue or time change so much better than a printed card.

Can I change my template after I have started?

Yes. A template is only a skin — switching it never changes your words, photos, guest list or which features you have. You can try a different design the week before the wedding and lose nothing.

Can guests RSVP on the invitation?

Yes. Guests reply directly on the page and their responses land in your dashboard, where you can sort, count and export them. RSVP responses also feed the seat plan, so you can arrange tables from the people who have actually confirmed.

Can I add background music and a video?

Yes. You can set a background music track and embed a video — a prenup film or a save-the-date clip — as part of the invitation.

Can guests find their table?

Yes. You can build a seat plan and share a find-my-seat link. A guest types their name and is shown their table, which saves a lot of milling around at the reception entrance.

Is it only for weddings?

Weddings are what it is built for, but the same builder includes birthday and debut designs, so it works for a milestone party too.

Guests and privacy

Do my guests need an app or an account?

No. The invitation is an ordinary web link. Guests tap it and it opens in the browser their phone already has — nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Will my invitation appear in Google search results?

No, and that is deliberate. Every couple's invitation carries a no-index instruction, so search engines keep it out of their results. Your invitation is shared by you, through the link you send — it is not something a stranger can stumble onto by searching your names.

What does the link look like when I share it on Messenger or Facebook?

It shows a preview card with your invitation's title and an image you choose. You can upload your own preview photo so the card looks like your invitation rather than a generic thumbnail.

Can I use it for guests outside the Philippines?

Yes. The link works anywhere with an internet connection, which is one of the main reasons couples with family abroad choose a digital invitation. Prices are billed in Philippine pesos.

How do I get help if something goes wrong?

Message us — by email at jking.cim@gmail.com or on Facebook. We answer questions about building, publishing and activation codes directly.

Still deciding?

Compare the designs on the templates page, check the numbers on the pricing page, or read the guide to digital wedding invitations if you are still weighing digital against printed.
